    We are The Odd Spot!

    Determined to bring to Spencerville Ontario a new unique shop of a variety of curated products for entertaining along with a cozy café offering coffees, specialty drinks and a menu of shareable food. Our customers can also stay & play to enjoy our library of 300+ popular board games.

    2008

    Family gaming events

    …it started in 2008, when we committed to introducing tabletop gaming as a viable social activity for all, be it for casual, educational, or even competitive. We ventured to create, produce and host events such as Game Summit and Toy & Game Expo, and offer family friendly Games Pavilions at other festivals and events…

    2011

    Games for All

    …then in 2011, we co-founded Games for All, a family friendly game store, lounge and giant game rentals…

    Today…

    We start something new…

    …as we lived through 2020-2022, a strange couple years, we decided to once again take advantage of our mutual passion for entertaining and ignite our entrepreneurial sprit to renew our shop & café business with new ideas, a new brand and a new spot!

    Our goal is to get more families in the habit of turning off their electronic devices and spending quality social time together. We hope you will enjoy your visit to our site, get a chance to visit our location, and keep playing games!
